The punt seemed accidentally returned to me, but yea. It landed in his lap; at least he killed some extra time trying to field it.
I suppose he could have muffed it and we recover. The return was sketchy on their side.

Bud Grant would be proud. The last 3-0 win I remember was against Green Bay a few decades ago. when was the last time we shut someone out?? |

Damn we really going to kick it? Pooch punt was the right call but Joseph needed to angle the ball to either sideline with the ball landing and staying in bounds.
Anyway, we escaped with a W in one of the worst displays of football I've ever seen in 60+ years on both sides of the ball.
Both defenses played great and were really physical |

I think he could have fair caught it thereby saving time on the clock (would have left about 15 seconds) but unless he was coached up to do so he just reacted in the moment. |
