Sanders is a Junior, so he can pull a โCaleb Williamsโ and stay at Colorado to make more money from NIL than on a rookie contract.

Who's the highest ranked TE or Safety this season? That's who KAM will be focusing in on Why focus on the highest ranked when you can trade down and get mediocrity at BOTH positions?! Two in one thread of the most hilarious post of the day. So sad but so true. The buffoonery with roster construction is beyond belief.

Why take a sure thing when you can take a project because he ran fast in the combine's underwear olympics

It would be cool to get a guy named Kool-Aid. The Vikings have a choice in the second round between Penix Jr. and Nix, who will be battling against each other this weekend (#7 Washington vs. #8 Oregon). I think both those quarterbacks will be 24 years old on draft day. No high pick in the third round due to the trade for TJ Dropenson. With the way QBs have moved in previous years, by the time draft day comes, both Penix and Nix will be first rounders, if there is a QB we like we will need to take them in the 1st.

I still stand by my belief McCarthy will be the 3rd QB off the board. I would be cool with Ewers, McCarthy, or Sanders I guess, but I would prefer the guy that has played in a pro style O and has shown the intangibles you want at the position. I am really unsure about how to view Nix and Penix though I think both are talented, but older and Penix has 2 ACL injuries already and Nix is in a gimmick O. I like Penix, but it would be really hard to see him going before the late 1st at the earliest. Crap about Williams or Sanders playing for NIL over NFL is silly as once again the whole point is to get to the 2nd contract as early as possible. Only way the NIL works better for a QB in the long run is if they fail in the NFL.

Personally, I want nothing to do with Pennix or Nix. Pennix just doesn't strike me as an NFL QB and his injury concerns are pretty high. Nix already showed he struggled against good defenses at Auburn, the one good defense they faced last year he looked like ass against UGA. Life in the Pac 12 is easy for him, nobody plays defense there. Those to face each other this week, will be interesting to see if one really outplays the other.
Caleb, Maye, McCarthy or Sanders would be the only four I'd look at in the first round, IMO. They all have great athleticism, have been relatively durable and seem to be the best fits for the grind of the NFL.
Ewers I just can't figure out. Do you get the one that showed up against Alabama this year, or do you get the one that went 19 of 49 and threw 3 picks against Oklahoma State last year and 17 of 39 and a pick against TCU?

Win over the bears pushed us down to #7 pick... If the team runs the table and wins out I will eat crow, not likely.

Loss tonight should move us up at least one spot.
I have watched a couple of 49er games this year and even with the injuries this looks to be be a loss for men in horns.
There is always hope, these are the Vikings we are talking about. If the Vikings were an anchor they would intermittently float. :-)

If you have faith in our new scouting department.
Vikings draft pick rooting guide: Who should you cheer for?
If youโre already over this season and looking to find out how the Vikings could end up with the highest pick possible, hereโs what you should be rooting for in Week 18.
Minnesota loss to Detroit
New York Jets win over New England
Atlanta win over New Orleans (you should be used to rooting for Saints losses)
Chicago win over Green Bay
Las Vegas win over Denver
If all these five factors occur, the Vikings will climb up as high as No. 8 in April.
