I cant until next year when we play preseason games the same B.S with all folks here bandwagon jumpers oh no we are bad, bad draft. Folks leave our D cord out of your baby crying run your own football team every year same B.S complainers. Every year, we get to listen to you complain about the complainers, in sentences that makes my brain hurt trying to figure out what the hell you are saying

Sure hope our starters don't get many injuries this year. 2nd team is complete junk. Pace Jr. being the only exception. Qb, Rb, Ol, Dl are all complete garbage.
The trade-down last year was a complete embarrassment. High IQ doesn't equate to good common sense.

Vikings have serious depth issues. Udoh, was hot garbage. Yep, and it centers around the very areas that hurt the most: interior DL and OL.

I'm not worried about 3 or 4 string D our 2nd D will be fine oh my getting the panic button. That was our 2nd D for a good part of 1st half and we still have guys in there who we need to contribute. Not to mention, where is this great Flores scheme? Two weeks in a row that our backups are not even close to being competitive against other backups. I think we were up 9-7 at the half? Last week it was 10-7? Both Seattle and Ten also played their backup QBs most or all of the second half. I think our 2nd string is OK. Beyond that it definitely doesn’t look good, but most of those guys won’t be around much longer. Honestly any team that has to go beyond their 2nd string is usually scraping the barrel.

Not to mention, where is this great Flores scheme? Two weeks in a row that our backups are not even close to being competitive against other backups. Our D was not bad in the 1st half except for that blown TD run. Vikings have been leading at half time both games. The one TD drive we gave up in 1st had Booth miss a tackle, Dye not cover a TE out in the flat, and almost the entire left side of the defense vacate their responsibilities vs the TD run. Other side Booth played OK in coverage and Dye made 2 plays that stood out. Both Williams actually had a worse half then Booth. Cine was really up and down and he was really bad on some key plays. Vilain has really stood out as a player the first 2 preseason games and Pace looks like a player. I mean Dye hadthe INT and a stuff, but I am still not sure he was where he was supposed to be on the pick? He looks bigger and way better in the LB role around the line of scrimmage, but he has lost a step adding that weight. Right now between him and Reeder and he is ahead of Reeder.

Sure hope our starters don't get many injuries this year. 2nd team is complete junk. Pace Jr. being the only exception. Qb, Rb, Ol, Dl are all complete garbage. The trade-down last year was a complete embarrassment. High IQ doesn't equate to good common sense. Vilain has looked really good and he is deep depth at EDGE. I actually like Chandler at RB and McBride had a much better game. Booth and Dye were both better this week, but both had a play or 2 with issues. I look forward to Roy being back next week because it sounded like he had a couple good days early in camp before getting nicked up. Blackmon should be back soon. Jaylen Williams and Ward look lost no doubt about that. I really do not like any of our depth at Interior OL. We only have 4 DL I feel comfortable with in Tonga, Phillips, Lowry, and Roy and Roy is is a developmental guy for the 53. Cine will be the 4th S so not that worried there though he has some brain farts back there. We are 4 concussions in on Evans so I am not relying on him for anything anymore., but we know he can play well for a reserve if needed. We are going to end up cutting 3 or 4 WR's I really like and Muse is almost certain for the PS and he could get sniped. One upside to Hall's play so far is he is probably an easy choice for PS instead of trying to figure him into the 53 plans. They should really sign Risner and bring him in as at the very least he would be the top backup at all 3 interior positions on the OL and probably should start at G if brought in. Lot of talk about Wonnum this offseason by people and I think he is a guy they could honestly trade for a depth player at DL for. I am almost certain the team adds at least 1 DL before the season starts. I think it is an even chance they add a LB for the 4th spot vs keeping Dye for that job. I would keep Thompson over Jaylen Williams as depth player due to special teams play. If Nailor and Evans are short term IR'd to start the year it opens up chances to cut a Thompson or a Thomas/Harry and then sneak them on 53 after waivers clear. So much will change in the next week and a half it is crazy. One thing really working in Dye's favor right now is he is the only guy to backup Hicks right now as the SAM or TE side LB'er they have since Reeder has shown little. I am starting to buy into the Thayer Thomas hype a bit as I think he could develop into a decent depth WR. I would really like to see Hall and McBride get some run with 2nd team units before some decisions are made. Something this week really changed for McBride because it looks like he clearly is now the next guy up after Chandler. A light probably turned on. P.S. could probably add Gowan into the mix with Thompson for over Jaylen Williams. Ward is almost certain to be kept due to being a 4th rounder, but he is just bad from what I can see.
