I guess the Twins are too congested with infield players with Correa returning.

Good thing the Twins got a shortstop prospect in the deal, just in case Carlos Correa, Royce Lewis, Brooks Lee and Austin Martin get injured.

Still need pitching. 1 guy isn't enough. At this point, I'm open to signing Bauer, regardless of controversy.

Hasn't there been regular discussion that at least Martin will eventually be moved from SS? Lewis (when healthy), Lee, Martin, & Salas each could potentially be good trade chips eventually. Salas is also only 19 so with the Twins he's got at least five years before they would consider calling him up.

My guess is Lewis is moved to 3B and if he is playing there
in AAA when he is healthy, we will know for sure.

So the infield will be 3B Lewis, SS Correa, 2B Polanco & 1B Miranda?

So the infield will be 3B Lewis, SS Correa, 2B Polanco & 1B Miranda? Presumably Miranda 3B and Kirilloff 1B for now as I think Lewis is likely out the first half of the season. When he is ready I think/hope he'll start at 3B, pushing Miranda to share 1B with Kirilloff who would also spend some time in LF.

Kirilloff also may not be ready to start the season but I hope they leave him at 1B and not move him around. We should have enough dedicated outfielders that we don't need to move players between the infield and outfield. Remember what happened to Lewis.

What position does Lewis play when he returns? 1B Kirilloff 2B Polanco 3B Miranda SS Correa
I wish they would have used Correa’s money on a starting pitcher.
PS - I can’t stand the way Baldelli handles the lineup.

PS - I can’t stand the way Baldelli handles the lineup. I'd like to see Polanco as our primary DH. His bat is more important than playing in the field and he should be mature enough to handle it.

I guess they could move Kirilloff to LF and the infield could end up being: 1B Miranda 2B Polanco 3B Lewis SS Correa

The returning Batting Champion has only been traded twice the following year in MLB history.
Both the Twins. Carew and now Arraez.
