Big Board Rank: 70 Height: 6-foot-6 Weight: 313 Walter Rouse is a big, strong edge blocker who uses power in the run game and a heavy anchor in the passing game to be successful, but heβll need to improve his footwork and body control to hit his ceiling as a high-end starter. Rouse has tremendous length, a sturdy build and the requisite athleticism to back it up. His motor runs high throughout the game, and he never switches off mentally, which led to some phenomenal reps in late-game situations. The final play to beat Texas, in which he blocked two defenders, is a testament to his competitiveness and awareness in high-stress situations. Rouse projects as a starting right tackle who can be a backup left tackle early in his career. While he has almost exclusively played left tackle, Rouseβs athleticism, size and mentality fit better on the right side early on. www.the33rdteam.com/2024-nfl-draft-ranking-top-15-offensive-tackle-prospects/

The guy is smart, graduated from Stanford in 4 years. I wonder if they try to move him inside? Think he is a T only guy, but maybe?

Thanks for posting additional info and videos to all.
It is encouraging that his best year was this past season. Maybe he's just now fully developing.

Biomechanical Engineer means he has a pretty good head on his shoulders.
Started 39 of 40 at Stanford and all 13 at Oklahoma
Played the Alamo Bowl and East West Shrine game because he wanted to prove something. Gotta love the attitude.
6'6" is a little tall to play guard but if he can do it..... let him.
While Rouse played almost exclusively at left tackle throughout his college career, he said that teams have inquired throughout the predraft process about his ability to play right tackle or even move inside to guard. At the East-West Shrine Bowl, where Rouse said he met with the Eagles, he took some reps at right tackle.
